Very close to Nashville, Brown County State Park is Indiana's largest and most visited state park. Known for its rolling hills, forests and beautiful vistas, the park is also a hiker's, horseman's and biker's paradise. The trails are ideal for off-road biking. A four mile loop takes bikers across ridges with spectacular views. Trail riding on horseback is also very popular. There are horse barns available and pony rides for the kids. It's hard to think of visiting Brown County without making at least one trip to the State Park. The Park is also home to a 12,000 square foot water park at the Abe Martin Lodge. The water park is open to the public if not at capacity. Camping options include primitive camping, campsites with & without electric, full hookups and horseman's camping.
